Patrick Joven es el único fundador y artista de BioCreative Arts. Es un filipino-americano nacido en California, criado en Texas, con sede en Houston, Texas. Desde que Patrick era joven, siempre tuvo un amor por el dibujo, pero nunca pensó que había algo que pudiera hacer con él en el futuro. Esto lo llevó en un viaje para perseguir otro interés: la ciencia. Su formación académica consiste en una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Kinesiología con concentración en Medicina Atlética y una certificación de entrenamiento personal a través de NASM que utilizó para construir años de experiencia trabajando con ejercicios posteriores a la rehabilitación para aquellos que tienen lesiones de la médula espinal y trastornos neurológicos, y prescripción de ejercicios para clientes de entrenamiento personal. Durante los estudios universitarios de Patrick, reencontró su amor por el dibujo al tiempo que descubrió la importancia del arte en la educación después de usarlo como una forma de ayudarlo a aprender y recordar conceptos científicos complejos. Desde entonces, Patrick ha encontrado una pasión por compartir la belleza de la ciencia a través de su arte.
En su viaje artístico, muchos le han preguntado si vende su trabajo. Esto llevó a Patrick a embarcarse en un viaje para convertirse en un artista que trabaja, no solo para establecer un nombre en la industria, sino también para financiar su amor y pasión para que pueda continuar creando para otros. Debido a que el precio de la obra de arte original puede ser caro, Patrick decidió vender impresiones de la obra original para hacerla más asequible para sus fanáticos. Este fue cuando encontró Etsy y su increíble plataforma que está orientada a ayudar a los artistas a continuar haciendo lo que aman.
Patrick Joven is the single founder and artist for BioCreative Arts. He is a California-born, Texas-raised, Filipino-American based in Houston, Texas. Since Patrick was young, he always had a love for drawing but he never though there was anything he can do with it in the future. This lead him on a journey to pursue another interest: science. His educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Athletic Medicine and a personal training certification through NASM which he used to build years of experience working with post rehabilitation exercise for those who have spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders, and exercise prescription for personal training clients. During Patrick's undergraduate studies, he re-found his love for drawing while also discovering the importance for art in education after using it as a way to help him learn and remember complex scientific concepts. Since then, Patrick has found a passion for sharing the beauty of science through his art.
On his artistic journey, many have asked if he sells his work. This lead to Patrick embarking on a journey to become a working artist, not only to establish a name in the industry but to also fund his love and passion so that he can continue creating for others. Because the price of original artwork can be pricey, Patrick decided to sell prints of the original work to make it more affordable to his fans. This one when he found Etsy and it's amazing platform that is geared towards helping artists continue doing what they love.
