Patrick Joven est le fondateur et artiste de BioCreative Arts. Il est né en Californie, élevé au Texas, philippino-américain basé à Houston, au Texas. Depuis que Patrick est jeune, il a toujours eu un amour pour le dessin, mais il n’a jamais pensé qu’il pouvait en faire quoi que ce soit à l’avenir. Cela l’a conduit à poursuivre un autre intérêt: la science. Sa formation comprend un baccalauréat ès sciences en kinésiologie avec concentration en médecine du sport et une certification d’entraînement personnel par NASM qu’il a utilisée pour acquérir des années d’expérience de travail avec des exercices post-réadaptation pour ceux qui ont des lésions de la moelle épinière et des troubles neurologiques, et la prescription d’exercices pour les clients d’entraînement personnel. Au cours de ses études de premier cycle, Patrick a retrouvé son amour pour le dessin tout en découvrant l’importance de l’art dans l’éducation après l’avoir utilisé comme moyen de l’aider à apprendre et à se souvenir de concepts scientifiques complexes. Depuis, Patrick s’est passionné pour le partage de la beauté de la science à travers son art.
Au cours de son parcours artistique, beaucoup lui ont demandé s’il vendait son travail. Cela a conduit Patrick à se lancer dans un voyage pour devenir un artiste actif, non seulement pour établir un nom dans l’industrie, mais aussi pour financer son amour et sa passion afin qu’il puisse continuer à créer pour les autres. Parce que le prix des œuvres d’art originales peut être cher, Patrick a décidé de vendre des tirages de l’œuvre originale pour la rendre plus abordable pour ses fans. Celui-ci quand il a trouvé Etsy et c’est une plate-forme incroyable qui vise à aider les artistes à continuer à faire ce qu’ils aiment.
Patrick Joven is the single founder and artist for BioCreative Arts. He is a California-born, Texas-raised, Filipino-American based in Houston, Texas. Since Patrick was young, he always had a love for drawing but he never though there was anything he can do with it in the future. This lead him on a journey to pursue another interest: science. His educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Athletic Medicine and a personal training certification through NASM which he used to build years of experience working with post rehabilitation exercise for those who have spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders, and exercise prescription for personal training clients. During Patrick's undergraduate studies, he re-found his love for drawing while also discovering the importance for art in education after using it as a way to help him learn and remember complex scientific concepts. Since then, Patrick has found a passion for sharing the beauty of science through his art.
On his artistic journey, many have asked if he sells his work. This lead to Patrick embarking on a journey to become a working artist, not only to establish a name in the industry but to also fund his love and passion so that he can continue creating for others. Because the price of original artwork can be pricey, Patrick decided to sell prints of the original work to make it more affordable to his fans. This one when he found Etsy and it's amazing platform that is geared towards helping artists continue doing what they love.
