In 2014 I decided to go on a spur of the moment solo road trip through Northern California. I had recently went through several big life changes that left me feeling dejected and alone. While driving down redwood lined roads and gazing out over the pacific I had a lot of time to think - to remember what it is that truly makes me feel inspired. I have always believed in the elegance of nature and the character of the found. However, this trip gave me the courage to start this business that had been brewing inside me for years. When I returned to Portland I picked up my computer and went to Etsy - this time as a seller.
