A SEED IS PLANTED
My connection to quilts began early—even before I was born. My cousin’s grandma made a simple crazy scrap quilt for my mom as a baby shower gift, and it became my special blankie. All through my school years, when I had a bad day or was sick, out came that quilt. I took it when I went away to college, and I got it out again when my own baby was born.

MY CREATIVE PHILOSOPHY
I believe every quilt is special and has a unique story to tell. It’s my job to help my clients bring this story to life. I love consulting with my clients and figuring out the perfect quilting design to highlight the hard work, creative energy, and memories contained the their tops.

I believe the creative process adds perspective and joy to our lives. I take that seriously and treat every client quilt top as if it were my own. My goal is for my work to increase the joy your quilt brings to your life, and the life of the recipient.

I believe in embracing imperfections in our quilting and allowing them to stimulate creativity. Who knows, they may end up being the seed of a design feature in a future project!

I believe in the power of making something every day, and in these small ‘maker efforts’ shaping change in the world around us. Our creative efforts have the power to help others see new possibilities.
