Announcement   I wanted to give everyone a heads up as to my recent shipping practices.
Since the sudden, recent loss of my partner and housemate, I have been in between housing which has made it necessary for me to reside in my mobile art gallery which I normally only use to sell art at summer art fairs out of. This has created a situation where I reside in one state but my etsy stock is stored hours away in another. Because of this, I am unable to access my items easily to answer questions and to ship.
If you ask a question or make a purchase then your item being shipped or question answered will depend on when it happens in my current schedule.
Generally I drive to my stock every few weeks so if you need an answer or your item right away you may need to let me know. It may be that I'm heading there it happen to be there at that time but the worst case scenario is that I have just left there and will not be back right away. In cases of large purchases I have been known to drive right back.
I am so grateful for the patience of my supportive etsy community during this difficult time. It has meant so much to me to know that there are such wonderfully supportive people out there!

Shipping took some time. Ordered on June 17 did not get till July 1. I sent 2 messages to seller to which I was sent a rude return message, almost a week later. The package had enough tape on it I could have used it to pack a house with. Just overall not to happy with the purchase at all. Won't be returning to shop.

As a long term online seller, I have found that I have never had people disappointed with their purchase. On my vintage items, I sell them as found and they are used so unless I describe something as in mint condition, please expect it to show some wear. Feel free to ask any questions you like.

Payment
I prefer to take direct pay or money orders but I do also use pay pal.
I will require payment by money order within a week after purchase. Pay pal and direct pay payments within three days unless you email.

If you make multiple purchases and want to pay with pay pal, please wait for a payment request from me.
Shipping
My small items to the USA are shipping first class through the post office so the costs involved are for a small box or envelope and that shipping.
I have never charged handling fees.
Larger items will be mailed priority mail with delivery confirmation. If you buy a large amount of items or the items will be over sized and heavy I will certainly check to see if I can ship parcel post for you, however, I have found that based on distance and weight, it does not always save money.
I have also found that priority packages arrive in much better condition and I have not had them get lost in the mail.

I have mailed multiple thousands of packages and have only ever had a few packages get lost.
In those cases, a trace was put on the package and they were found. That is where the delivery confirmation with tracking numbers comes in very handy and is why I use them.

If you are an international buyer then I ship in an international priority envelope for $13.45 If you would like to make larger purchases then please email for a shipping amount.
Refunds and Exchanges
Once again, I have never, in over 15 years of online sales (most currently as retro*love on eBay, if you care to look) had problems with people being disappointed.
Because I give good descriptions and show clear pictures, I have never had anyone request to return an item so I have never taken a return. I will answer all questions and provide additional pictures if you feel you need them so you can feel comfortable with your purchase but if you are the type of person who returns things to a store easily due to buyer remorse type of reasons, then my items are not for you. The cost involved in shipping an item these days and time involved in the process is just to valuable for either of us to loose.

If an item is fragile, I wrap it in bubble wrap, use lots of packing peanuts (lower shipping weight than newspaper and takes bumps much better) and many times double box the item. I will require the item to also be insured at the buyer expense. This expense is based on the amount of the sale so if there are multiple purchases, it will be determined after purchases are made but will be the amount you will see listed at usps.com, there will be no hidden costs involved.
