How it all began
Hi. My name is Rebekah. I am a mother of two beautiful angels, as well as the owner of Bitty Button Boutique. Here is a little story of how Bitty Button Boutique came to be.
In 2013 I had purchased a hand button press to make buttons for a team that walks along side me at the Lory's Place Run-Walk-Rock 5k, a local charity event that I attend every year in memory of a lost pregnancy. A friend, who is the coordinator of Ride 4 the Homeless (a local charity event that I work closely with) approached me with the idea of making buttons as a fund raising effort for his event. We thought we would give it a try and hope for a small success. The demand was instantly more than what I could handle with my little hand press. It turns out that for any more than a handful of quality buttons a professional grade machine is a must.
And so, thanks to my awesome friend, the investment was made. Now every year I pour my heart into designing and assembling buttons for the Ride 4 the Homeless at no cost. They are a huge success and a great addition to their fund raising efforts! As a bonus, there is now a fancy press residing at my home that is used for so much more than fund raising.
Like most moms, I just LOVE showing off my little ones everywhere I go. Naturally the day my button press arrived the very first thing I did was scavenge my home for the cutest picture I could find of my little girl to turn into a button. I grabbed one of my favorites and VOILA! There it was; the birth of Bitty Button Boutique. Turning memories into accessories one button at a time.
