Updates

After an afternoon downpour washed everything clean I decided to decorate my tree with caftans. I'll be working on getting these listings up within the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile check out my current men's and women's caftans. Perfect for the playa!

My mission is to help people express their style with vintage clothing and accessories. My eye is drawn to the colorful prints, timeless classics and the great construction of years past. I love seeing the destinations of my packages--from nearby California to the faraway Netherlands and New Zealand...Black Rock style brings us all a little closer!

CONDITION
Please expect most vintage items to show some wear consistent with their age. Any known flaws will be described and/or photographed as best I can. My home is smoke free, but a vintage item comes with its own environmental history. I wish vintage clothes were in perfect condition, but they are not. The care and storage of old clothing can influence the condition. Please expect most vintage items to show some wear. I define wear as light fading, pin holes, pulled threads, fraying and stains. If I offer a garment with any more than light wear, I will describe and/or photograph the flaws the best I can. The photos are part of the description, so please use the zoom feature to examine the item carefully.

DESCRIPTIONS
Since you can't touch it, I take a lot of time to provide measurements and detail in my listings. Since monitor settings can vary, I describe the colors. I take the time to photograph and describe any flaws--vintage items are at least 20 years old, so perfect items are almost never offered.

I accept returns (sent back within 7 days of USPS delivery date via tracking number) on clothing as long as the garment is in the same condition as it went out. You will pay return shipping unless the item was grossly misrepresented.

Instructions for Return:
1. Please message me that you will be returning the item.
2. Please wrap the garment neatly in original packaging, or other clean, protective material.
3. Please use a shipping method with a tracking number.
4. Please message me with the tracking number.
5. Please consider purchasing insurance if the price of the item is over $50. I recommend USPS Priority Shipping.

RETURNS--INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS (EU Customers see below)

REFUSAL--INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

If an international package is returned to me from customs (you did not pick up the package from customs), I must hear from you stating the reason for refusal before I refund the item price. Shipping is not refunded.

EU DIRECTIVE ON CONSUMER RIGHTS

If you reside in a country subject to the EU Directive Consumer Rights, you have the right to return an item within 14 days of receiving the item. If you return the item in the same condition as it was sent, you will receive your purchase price and original shipping fee. You are responsible for return shipping,

This right does not extend to sale items, custom-made products and certain perishable goods, unless otherwise specified. Digital content, including artwork and patterns, may not be eligible for return. Rules governing digital content vary by EU member country.

I generally ship within 3 days, 5 at the latest. If your item is eligible, I ship via USPS first class mail. All others are shipped via USPS priority mail. All packages include delivery confirmation at no extra charge. Items over $50 are automatically insured at no extra charge. I can ship priority express, but it will cost an additional delivery fee (I live in an area that does whose letter carriers do not accept express shipping so I have to drive 20 miles round-trip to a post office).

I DON'T SHIP TO THESE COUNTRIES::
Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma, China, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela or any countries that are embargoed by the United States or United Nations as sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC)

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS FEES, VAT, etc.
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are not additional shipping charges.
