Announcement   ***** IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ *****
Due to the upcoming Maryland Renaissance Festival, our schedule is very tight. As such, both custom orders and orders for oversized swords (like Dragonslayer and Executioner's Blade) will be affected. We will also have a much more difficult time trying to meet any rush orders.
Custom Requests: We will not be able to start work on any new custom requests until Halloween. You are welcome to still send over requests or ask for information, but know that it is very unlikely that we could actually begin working on any new custom orders before then (and may be delayed in our responses).
Oversized Swords: Given the size and complexity of these pieces, they may take longer to complete than during the rest of the year. For any orders placed before Halloween, please leave as much extra time as possible to ensure you get your order in time for your needs.
All Orders: Please always be sure to let us know if you have any hard deadlines! We don't want anyone to miss out and we'd rather be able to let you know right away if we won't be able to make it so that you have a chance to find an alternative.
***** Thank you for your patience and understanding *****

Welcome one and all to Adventure Armoury!
Here at Adventure Armoury, we provide high quality swords, shields, and accessories to children of all ages, keeping our prices as low as possible to allow everyone to enjoy the fun of make-believe.

We use a broad range of methods and materials, including exotic and domestic hard and soft woods, and have recently begun expanding our work to include metalwork, leatherwork, casting, and more.

We also gladly accept custom orders, so please contact us with your ideas or click "Request a Custom Order" below! To prepare a quote, we'll need five pieces of information in addition to your ideas or reference images to speed up the process:

1) What overall length would you like? (this includes the entire blade and grip/pommel)
2) Do you want it painted or unpainted? (if you want it unpainted but with details woodburned on, let us know!)
3) Do you plan to use this for combat? (this determines if we can use our usual pine or if we need to use more costly hardwoods)
4) When do you need it to be delivered?
5) What is your shipping zip code?

About

Family owned and operated since 1980

We are a family business that started off making wooden swords in 1980 at small craft shows. As our family has grown, so has our number of locations, which now cover over two dozen renaissance festivals and various conventions throughout the US and we also ship worldwide. You’ll find Adventure Armoury at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, several anime and comic conventions, and of course online!

Here at Adventure Armoury, we believe in providing our staff a fair and living wage, starting at fifteen dollars an hour. We also support several charitable organizations. In 2017, ten percent of all online sales were donated to Planned Parenthood and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. In 2018, ten percent of all online sales will once again be donated to one or more of the following charities (subject to updates in early 2018):

- The Trevor Project
- Planned Parenthood
- Center for Reproductive Rights
- Natural Resources Defense Council
- International Refugee Assistance Project
- NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund
- Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund

We love what we do and hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as we do!
