5 out of 5 starsOn 05/23/19, I submitted a “disappointed” review of Blackthorn-USA’s C striker steel that I had just received. Dave Carlson, Blackthorn-US, responded promptly to my review, and offered a full refund or a replacement steel: I chose the replacement.
The replacement steel striker arrived 06/07/19, and Dave sent along two good pieces of chert in the package, a nice touch that was not necessarily, but speaks volumes about the character of Dave Carlson, and the soundness of his business model.
After thorough testing this replacement steel, it has proven to be everything I had anticipated it to be: this Blackthorn C striker steel throws showers of sparks with ease. Satisfaction, indeed!
This is a great and robust striker steel, one that any outdoorsman should be proud to own. I am truly satisfied with this striker steel. -
