SHIPPING *PLEASE READ*:

**Please see processing times on each individual item as it will vary across our shop. Our Ski Boards are now at a 2-3 week processing timeframe + 1-4 business day shipping via usps (this timeframe changes throughout the year, so please check the set processing before ordering as this does fluctuate depending on volume!). If you need your order shipped out before the listed timeframe, please add our rush listing to your order (*Rush orders are not always available*)! We may or may not be able to expedite our processing on other items, so please contact us to discuss before you purchase as we do not accept any cancelations after a certain timeframe. Selecting rush shipping (if applicable on your order) does not cut down on production times, it simply expedites the actual shipping time.**

**Make sure the address you provide us is correct and an address that is deliverable via USPS and FedEx. Shipments that come back to us due to an undeliverable address, non forward-able addresses or incorrect addresses given by the buyer are non refundable via any shipping carrier so in order to reship the item, a shipping charge will be created for the buyer to purchase even if shipping is included in the original order.*

**If you need to change the shipping address after your order is placed, you will need to reorder with the correct address (as Etsy does not allow us to physically change the address in the system and it is against Etsy’s Policy), and once you reorder, we will cancel out your initial order. Additional shipping charges may apply depending on the new location as some of our listings have calculated prices as opposed to included shipping charges.**

**Shipping times are estimated and so is the delivery date created by Etsy. We do our absolute best to get our items out within the timeframe we set, but sometimes due to abnormal weather conditions or family emergencies, we may be be delayed a couple of days after the scheduled ship by date. This is not often by any means, as we work very diligently to get items out as quickly as possible but we want to give full transparency to our customers in that we would rather a product be slightly delayed than shipped out in a condition less than our standards! If you see your estimated delivery date very close to the date you need it by, please contact us before ordering, as delivery times are not always accurate due to delays via the carrier!**

*** Once your item is shipped out, we are not responsible for delays via the shipping carrier and cannot tell you more information than you can see with your tracking number. Often times, items aren’t scanned by the carrier at each destination, so don’t be alarmed by this, or if you see “pre-transit” for several days, or even for the entire journey of the item. If there is a problem and or delays with your shipping, you may contact the shipping carrier. Once an item leaves our shop, it’s out of our control until an item is either returned to us, deemed “lost” in the mail (which hasn’t happened yet), or damaged upon arrival.***

***DAMAGES***

Unfortunately, although not often, sometimes items get broken in the mail. If this happens, we will either offer you a refund of the product or happily remake and re-ship your item so long as we receive pictures of the damage and the box the initial order came in, as well as all packing materials so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier. Please send all information to us through messages. Please note that there is a limited time to file damage claims, so please open your packages right away or we will not be able to assist past the window of time we have to file damage claims.

If your item was shipped via FedEx or usps, they require a more extensive claim process so you may need to keep packaging materials until the claim process is over. If packing materials are discarded before the claim process is over, resulting in an automatic claim denial, a refund will not be issued on our end.

Blank Canvas by Potter Beginnings!

In 2014, On Christmas, Brandon received a wood burner & glass etcher from his parents as a gift. He gave them a go due to his background in art and he started to make gift items for friends family. Sure enough, many of them started asking him to make them even more pieces for their home. In the years to come, his hobby and passion for art evolved into a business that we absolutely love as a couple!

When Brandon and I first started the business, it was more of a hobby, but over the years it evolved into something much greater than we ever imagined. I (Debbie), am a stay at home mom of our 3 beautiful children, and instead of going back to work at a traditional job, I started to take over many aspects of Blank Canvas and I continues to market, manage and aid in production of most items in our shop. Ski Boards for Shots are my specialty and I have fully taken over that aspect of our business! Brandon continues to work full time as a financial adviser outside of Etsy but comes home everyday to slay on orders with me. We are often awake long hours, but we love every second because we get to be with each other and we know that all our hard work now is paying off for the future of our children.

We are motivated every single day by each other and our 3 beautiful children as they are our drive to continue to live in our passion. We want to thank each and every one of you for visiting our shop and supporting our business, for without you, none of this would be possible!

Custom and personalized orders

Please make all personalization requests in the notes to seller during checkout. If you have a picture to send us, please message us with an image attachment.

Damaged Items

Unfortunately, although not often, sometimes items get broken in the mail. If this happens, we will happily remake and re-ship your item so long as we receive pictures of the damage and the box the initial order came in, so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier. Please send all information to us through messages!

Processing times

Our processing times vary across our listings. Please visit each individual item to see processing. If you need a rush on a ski board, please add our rush listing to your order. If you need a rush on a different item, please contact us before placing the order to see if we can push it ahead.

Can I pickup locally?

If you live local to us in Huntington Long Island, we do offer pickup. Please use coupon code LOCALNOSHIP when ordering and your order will deduct shipping charges. Once your order is ready for pickup, you’ll receive a shipment notification from Etsy and at that time, we can arrange for pickup through messages.

Returns

We do not accept returns but do offer exchanges on items that have not been engraved or personalized. If you would like an exchange, initial shipping costs are not refunded and the item must get sent back to us at your expense. Your item must be returned in the initial packaging, and unused (items for food or alcohol use are non eligible for an exchange). Exchanges must be initiated by the buyer within 3 days of delivery and sent back to us within 7 days of delivery. Once we receive the item, so long as it is in the condition it was when we sent it out, we will then start the processing on the exchange.

Can I cancel my order?

We do not accept cancellations on orders as each order is made to order and customized by color and or personal engraving

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately Etsy does not allow a shop to change the address in the system. If you realized the ship to address is wrong within the first 4 hours of purchase, we will cancel your order and you can then reorder. If you realize your ship to address is wrong after that 4 hour window, we require you to reorder your item before the initial order is canceled and your new order starts over with our processing timeframe.

Shipping Policy

If you are placing an order with us, please be sure to input an address that is considered a deliverable address via USPS. If your item gets shipped back to us because of a non deliverable/insufficient address, an additional label must be purchased by the buyer in order for us to re-ship. Please note that labels are automatically printed according to the address that is inputted by the buyer. We do not offer returns or refunds on items that are sent back to us, so inputting a valid address is important. If you are unsure, please contact USPS before ordering.
