Welcome to the Blastland...

Welcome traveler. Here, at my little outpost, you will find one of a kind jewelry and accessories handcrafted from found and vintage times, ready to compliment your wasteland armor.

I've always been in love with post-apocalyptic themed things. I think Fallout 2 (my favorite game of all time) helped me realize this, but being raised in the desert with a muscian father, an artist mother that collects animal skulls, and grandparents who know the best places to dig up dinosaur fossils, gemstones and antique bottles, has lead me to be creative and a lover of found objects and salvage.
I always find a use for items I've found or received. It may take a lot time to be incorporated into something, but nothing goes to waste. Friends and relatives find strange items or keep something they would normally throw away, and immediately think of giving them to me because I always find a use for them.

Feel free to check out my shop - it's radiation free...

My name is Alia, and I've been in love with post-apocalyptia since the very first Fallout games. I am an artist and crafter, and love working with found objects, natural items, vintage pieces, and salvage to create beautiful end-of-the-world jewelry.

My mother is an artist and a jewelry maker, so it was natural that I would grow up and follow the same path. I've never taken any formal art classes, but I love to paint, draw, crochet, and create jewelry and miniatures. I work with polymer clay, miniature glass bottles, feathers, rusty, salvaged hardware, and a lot of other interesting things to create my items. I paint in acrylics, and occasionally draw in colored pencil and ink. I also went through a phase making hand-sewn artist teddy bears, some with recycled fur.
I'm also a writer. I have taken quite a few formal writing classes, and am currently working on a novel.
I'm inspired by video games, Japan, nature, the apocalypse, psychobilly rock, and everyday life. The medium may vary, but I constantly feel the need to create.

I accept Paypal, which takes major credit cards even if you don't have a Paypal account. If you have a problem with Paypal, or need an invoice, contact me. I will take a money order if necessary, but I expect payment to be mailed within a week of the purchase. If I do not receive your payment after several weeks, I will cancel the sale. Please contact me for money order payments.
The 'Other' payment method is reserved for trades, not for credit cards, personal checks, or other payment methods. If you choose 'Other', I will send you a Paypal invoice for your total. Payment must be made within 72 hours or I will cancel the sale.
If you see an item you want, but need me to reserve it until you can buy it, I can do so! I will not reserve items longer than 3 weeks though. Many times, if the item you wanted gets sold, I can make another.
I love custom orders! But like reserved items, unless other arrangements have been made, the item must be purchased within 3 weeks after the finished item has been posted. If it is not, I reserved the right to sell it to the general public.
I will ship items as soon as I recieve payment and will email you as soon as it ships. Your package will ship in 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment. I now offer Priority shipping in my shop for your convenience. I provide my U.S. customers a delivery confirmation number when shipping. I wish I was capable of doing this for First Class international orders, but I can't. It comes standard with Priority Int'l however. If you would like insurance, please let me know before you purchase so I can add it on to the total since Etsy doesn't have that option when you check out.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you receive your item and it's damaged (or leaked, came apart, etc.) in shipment or soon after you receive it, I will make you another free of charge or refund your money, even if the problem isn't necessarily my fault (USPS broke it, you dropped it, etc.). If something is lost in the mail, I will make you another for free or for half-price depending in the cost, materials, and time that goes into reproducing the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
I stand by my work and try to showcase my items as accurately as I can in the photos. If for any reason you feel like what you ordered is different than what you expected, let me know and we'll figure something out. Please contact me before leaving neutral or negative feedback, as I would like you to be as satisfied as possible with your purchase.
