Blondies Bags & Retro Throwbacks

I got the idea of hand sewing oversize totes from commuting in Washington D.C. on the metro and watching women travel with 3 bags; purse, computer and yoga bags. Family & friends love their hand sewn totes & encouraged me to sell them.

As a knitter & my knit bags also a hit with the family & friends & were being scooped up at my flea markets.

Established as Blondies Bags, vintage handbags came naturally & also quite popular at my flea markets.

Then comes Vintage Retros, a way to keep my love of junking in check with over flowing treasures at home.

Returning to my roots of sewing, I have added another line; hand sewn dresses.
