BluKatDesign

BluKatDesign is unique, eco-friendly wearable art jewelry and vintage-inspired ornaments , one-of-a-kind gifts made from upcycled or repurposed materials. Fast shipping (next business day) and 5-star service since 2010 — your satisfaction guaranteed.

***USPS SHIPPING****As you may know, USPS shipping rates continue to increase. On July 12, rates for many small packages went up by as much as $2.

Etsy encourages sellers to offer “free shipping” by building shipping costs into the price of each item. I prefer to keep my pricing transparent. Instead of hiding shipping in the item price, I charge separately so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.

Because Etsy provides sellers with discounted USPS rates, I pass those savings directly on to you rather than charging the full retail USPS price.

Thank you for supporting handmade and understanding the rising costs of shipping. I truly appreciate every order!******

Welcome to my Etsy store! I'm Heather, the owner and artist behind BluKatDesign. My passion for creating unique, eco-friendly jewelry and ornaments using repurposed materials has always been at the forefront of my designs. I love the challenge of taking an old, funky vintage earring or pin and transforming it into something new that's totally fashionable and fun to wear today. I also take pride in crafting beautiful ornaments that add a touch of nostalgia to your home decor for any season. Each piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail to ensure a high-quality product that you'll love.

By supporting handmade, you're not only making a statement of style and individuality but also contributing to sustainability and ethical practices. Please feel free to browse my store and reach out if you have any questions. Nothing here is mass-produced, it is all handmade by me with love! You are in the right place if you are looking for artistic jewelry specially made for your creative, colorful, and individual style and for unique, original ornaments and gift ideas!

ABOUT BluKatDesign: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BluKatDesign/about/

PACKAGING
I try to be as eco-friendly as possible but I ship in the most economical sturdy boxes and bubble mailers. I use 100% recycled Kraft boxes with scrap paper flower “bows” or reusable organza bags.

For protection, I use 100% recycled tissue or compostable cellophane. If more padding is needed I re-use old bubble wrap.

To reduce paper, I am currently not printing out packing slips but if you need one, I am happy to include one for you, just leave me a note at checkout.

SHIPPING: I’m not responsible for shipping delays or issues beyond my control. You’ll see the same tracking updates as I do. For damaged, lost, or stolen items, you may need to provide proof or file a police report for theft, like porch piracy.

Actual USPS Delivery Times (not guaranteed, and Etsy may show something different!):

• Ground Advantage: 3–5 business days
• Priority Mail: 2–3 business days

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Canada: it will usually take a full 10 days after my 1-2 day processing.
For other international shipping, this has been discontinued.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

Your satisfaction is always guaranteed! I am confident you won’t have to return your item, but if for any reason you need to return it, you are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Any "free shipping" promotion costs may be deducted from your refund.

Returns or exchanges must be initiated through an Etsy conversation within 14 days of USPS-confirmed delivery of your package, and the item must be placed in the mail within 30 days of receiving my response.
