Why I started this shop
I got into board games a couple years ago after joining a board game meetup. I've always enjoyed board games, but only ever knew the basic ones everyone grew up with. I quickly discovered a passion for learning new types of games and strategies, and then teaching others and sharing their enjoyment. The worst part of any board game is setting it up and putting it away. I would always dream up of ways to organize games that wouldn't require a ton of bags and would hold the components separately and securely during transit and storage.
Earlier this year my dad retired and pretty much gave me his old 3D printer for almost nothing. He's been 3d printing as both a hobby and part of his business for years, and I was always fascinated by the technology. So I dove into 3D printing with this old printer of his and printed a ton of stuff off thingiverse. Then I started wanting to print my own ideas instead of other peoples. I played around with FreCAD for a couple months before going all in on some nice 3D parametric design software and 3 brand new 3D printers.
So this shop is a combination of my two biggest passions, board games and designing for 3D printing. I want to keep improving on my design capabilities and I want people to spend more time playing games, and less time setting them up and breaking them down!
