MY LAMPWORK BEADS:

Each bead is handmade by me, Pam Brisse, in my garden studio in Edmonds, Washington. I melt glass and play with fire, and these are the little treasures that come out of my kiln at the end of a good day. The glass I use is from Italy, Germany and USA. Beads are annealed in my kiln, cleaned by hand, inspected to be free of sharp edges or cracks, and are ready to be used in your next creation. Enjoy and have fun with them!

Payment
PAYMENTS: Paypal is super easy and safe - if you have an account, you know what to do. If you don't, you can still process a credit card through them, just select the option that says "don't have an account?" and follow the instructions.

NON-PAYMENTS: I expect to receive payment information when a sale happens. If an order does not receive payment and I can not satisfactorily communicate with a buyer about payment, these sold items will be re-listed after 3 days.

STATE OF WASHINGTON SALES TAX: State sales tax will be added to any orders being shipped to an address in within the state of Washington. This addition to your total happens once you get to Paypal.
Shipping
PACKAGING INFO: I take the utmost care to insure that your items arrive safely. Beads are wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a bow, then cushioned with bubble wrap and packed in a bubble mailer. Jewelry items are wrapped in a signature Blue Between box and bow - pretty enough to be given as a gift - and then cushioned in tissue paper and packed in a cardboard mailer box.

SHIPPING INFO: I ship to the address in your PayPal account - using PayPal's shipping tool. IF you do not want me to send to this address, leave a note in comments. I try to get orders in the mail within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I ship bead orders via USPS First Class mail, but offer the option to upgrade to Priority Mail if you are in a rush. Jewelry orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail. International mail ships via USPS First Class International Mail.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS: I can't imagine why you would want to return a bead, especially once you hold it in your hand and see how much more beautiful it is in person. However, if you must, for any reason, simply return your purchase within 14 days of receipt and I'll replace or refund (less shipping costs).
Additional policies and FAQs
CARE: My beads are made from glass and annealed in a kiln to reduce stress and ensure durability. They should last forever and ever... future archaeologists may even find them some day and consider them to be valuable historical artifacts... but not if you drop them on a hard floor, like cement, for example. So take care to treat them like the treasures they are, please. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth and polish with a dry one. Or use your favorite glass cleaning method. I soak them in hot water and dish soap before I send them out, but that may not work once they have been added to a finished creative piece of some sort. Oh, and the more you hold them, the happier they will be. And you, of course. Enjoy!
