Shaping the hot glass into a barrel bead. The glass is glowing bright orange.
Adding black to the ends of the bead to frame the color of the focal and shaping to the desired form.
Adding some surface decoration to the bead. In this case, vines which will become a grape vine bead.
The finished grapevine bead after annealing. It's ready to soak before removing it from the mandrel and cleaning.

Adventures in Fire and Beauty

As I continue to learn and grow as an artist, I'm so thankful for all of you who are taking this journey with me.

Getting back into the glass world back in 2020, reacquiainting myself with skills from my past, learning new skill and techniques, adding borosilicate pendants and beads has been an amazing time and it just keeps getting better!

One of the biggest benefits has been meeting so many wonderful new customers who have taken a chance with me and continue to return, encourage and support my work. Love you all very much. Thank you.
