The Blue Buddha Boutique (B3) specializes in tutorials for 60+ B3 chainmaille designs as well as additional tutorials from other vendors. We also carry a variety of kits, components, jump rings and tools for chaimaille jewelry making.

B3 sells both "Kit Packs" as well as "Kits with Instructions." The Kit Packs do NOT contain instructions as they are meant to be paired with our PDF tutorials, or in some cases, a video or PDF tutorial from another designer. (If you already know how to make the weave, you can simply purchase the kits you need without purchasing PDF instructions. If you make your own rings, or purchase rings elsewhere, then simply buy the PDF instructions for the projects you like.)

The "Kits w/ Instr" are typically projects from other designers and vendors. These kits contain instructions plus all components needed to complete the project.

Business hours are Mondays - Fridays 8 am - 6 pm Pacific Time. Messages are typically responded to within one business day.

Buyer is responsible for making sure shipping address is correct, and buyers are responsible for the cost of reshipping a package if an incorrect address is provided. (In other words, free shipping covers the cost of shipping the package once.)

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
We are always happy to correspond with you BEFORE you order to ensure you are buying the proper items and answer any questions you have.

Returns at-a-glance:
• Opened (heat-sealed) packages are NOT returnable, because they cannot be resold.
• Unopened items may be returned for a 15% restock fee. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The item price will be refunded, minus the 15% restock fee, upon receipt of the item in our studio. Please ship with tracking.
• Scroll down for returns shipping address.
• Blue Buddha stands behind our products - if you receive a faulty item and wish to return it, contact us so we can make it right.


Complete details:

Check your order as soon as you receive it. Refunds, credits and exchanges are available only if items are returned within 15 days after receiving the items. All products must be in the same condition as when sent to you. No exceptions - be sure to closely examine your order as soon as it arrives to retain your eligibility for refunds/exchanges. Please note that opened bags of heat-sealed jump rings and kits cannot be returned (once opened, these items are ineligible for resale).

NO returns accepted for grab bag items, DVDs and custom order kits or other customized/special-order items.

If you received incorrect items in your order, let us know and we will immediately ship you the correct items. You must let us know within 7 days of receiving your order. Defective merchandise will be replaced or repaired at no charge for up to 30 days. Contact us and let us know what is broken.

Heat-sealed baggies (for jump rings, kits) that have been opened are NOT RETURNABLE because I am unable to sell them once they have been opened.

Refunds and exchanges for non-defective merchandise are subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15% or $2.50, whichever is higher. (Please note that for non-heat-sealed packets of jump rings and kits, we must carefully inspect these items to ensure they haven't been used. Yes, we know YOU would never try to return jump rings after using them, but unfortunately, other people have done so. We don't want to re-sell mangled rings, so we inspect and re-weigh all kits/jump rings that are returned to us. Should we discover the kit has fewer rings than it should, your restock fee will be higher. Thanks for understanding this policy.)

Note that instructions (PDFs, books, DVDs, etc) are NOT RETURNABLE — due to technological inventions such as the photocopier, scanner, DVD burner, etc.

Again, we are happy to speak with you before you place your order, to make sure you're ordering exactly what you need and to reduce the possibilities of you needing to return an item. If you have a problem with your purchase, we will give your situation the attention and respect that it deserves. We can't solve every issue, but we certainly try our hardest!

Returning Items:

To return items for a refund/credit or exchange, please message us first. Depending on the reason for the return, buyer may be responsible for return shipping costs. Carefully package the items and send to:

Enclose your order number or a copy of your receipt, and list the items to be returned/exchanged. Please include a contact number or email address so we can reach you if needed.
Shipping
Orders generally ship on Tuesdays and Fridays (excluding holidays).

Most orders ship via USPS First Class mail or Parcel Select, unless you select an upgrade to Priority Mail (which often costs just pennies more than parcel select) or Express. When your package is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation number and can access the status of your package via USPS.com.

If you place multiple orders, I can combine your orders into one package and refund excess shipping costs, minus a $1 order combination fee. To avoid the $1 fee, please write a note during checkout that you've placed multiple orders - this way I'll be aware before I print shipping labels and will just print one shipping label for your order.

International Shipping
All international orders are shipped First Class or Priority Mail. Rates may be high for for very large or heavy orders. Depending on your country you may be subject to customs/VAT fees. Under no circumstances is Blue Buddha Boutique responsible for any fees you may incur. Please do not ask us to mark your order as a "gift" in order to avoid paying hefty fees - that is considered mail fraud, which is a felony offense. We like to keep things honest over here at B3. :)

If you would like your order sent by Express Mail or by an alternate carrier like UPS or FedEx, please send an email to us at customercare [!at] bluebuddhaboutique.com prior to placing your order. We can check the fees and send you a quote. Keep in mind, Worldwide Express Shipping can take anywhere from 3-8 business days based upon your location.

If you are required to pay extra delivery charges, your order will be shipped once that payment is received. Depending on the size of your order, you may be responsible for customs and duties taxes, which can be very costly. You are fully responsible for contacting your local post office prior to placing an order to determine what charges you might incur. Under no circumstances is Blue Buddha Boutique responsible for paying these charges.

If you teach our designs, feel free to use your own instructions with no permission needed from B3. In order to use our instructions in your classes, you must become an authorized distributor. The distributor program is a cost-effective and easy way for bead stores and jewelry instructors to create a chainmaille curriculum. For a one time fee per project, you'll be allowed to reprint our instructions for retail sale and use in classes, and you can also purchase kits at wholesale prices.
