I started out my making hand stitched gifts and items for my family and friends, and after lots of compliments I decided to take the plunge and see if I could sell them online too, so here I am! I love what I doing and take great pride in every little item I create.

    Rae Batteson I live in Liverpool with my 2 children and partner. I was taught to sew and knit by my Mum and Nan when I was a child, and I now use those skills and a few self taught ones to design and create unique hand stitched items.

Hi and welcome to you all! Thank you for looking at my shop. My name's Rae and I work from home creating unique handmade items and gifts. There's nothing I enjoy more than creating hand-stitch little novelties just for you. I love getting custom orders so if you have something special in mind please email me so I can get creating for you. :-)

Payment
Payment is only accepted via PayPal. I am currently not accepting any checks or money orders as payment. Thanks for understanding!

Please pay for your order within 3 days of clicking the "add to cart" button. If any order is not paid for and I do not receive any communication, I will cancel the order and file a report with Etsy about the failed transaction.

If you find that you must delay the payment of your order, please email me as soon as possible to avoid negative feedback. I am very easy to work with, so please contact me! :-)

I understand that sometimes people can change their mind about a purchase - so if you change your mind before you pay for your order, please email me as soon as possible with a request to cancel. If you do so within 3 days of adding the items to your cart, I will cancel the transaction and won't leave any comments on your account.
Shipping
Shipping Info:
All in-stock item orders are packaged with care within three days of payment being received and posted via 'signed-for' 1st Class Royal Mail delivery for UK customers and Royal Mail Airsure for international customers. For any items that are handmade to order please refer to the actual listing for a guide to shipment dates, which can vary between 5 and 21 days depending on the individual order.

If you need your item very quickly (perhaps it's a last-minute gift?) and require Express shipping, please tell me in the notes section *before* you pay for the item so I can send you an invoice with your updated shipping costs.

Additional Info for International Customers:
International shipments are sent via Airsure, which is a little more expensive but ensures you can track your items as they make their way over to you, which helps to give a little peace of mind if your purchases have a long way to travel! :-) If you would prefer a different or cheaper delivery option please email me before purchasing your items so I can amend the postage options for you.

International customs fees must be paid by the buyer; you are responsible for knowing your country's customs regulations.

Insurance/proof of postage can be arranged upon request.

Please also note that delivery delays can unfortunately be common with both national and international shipments and unfortunately I have no control over this and cannot be responsible in any way for late deliveries. I also cannot take responsibility for any items lost or damaged in postage. Please take this into advisement before placing your order.

Refunds and Exchanges
Return Policy:
I believe in creating the highest quality items and a lot of care and attention to detail goes into very thing I create - and I hope it shows! If, however, you receive an item that is not exactly as described or is defective when you receive it, please feel free to return or exchange it!

Returns:
Returns are accepted within 7 days of your receipt of your purchase. Please email me As Soon As Possible so I can confirm you the proper shipping address for your return. Items must be in a new, unused, and undamaged condition for return to be accepted. Upon receipt of the returned item, a refund for the original price will be issued via PayPal (minus shipping).

Any personalized items that can't be resold are not returnable unless there are defects in the item(s). If you have a problem with a personalized custom order, please contact me as soon as possible so I can do what I can to make it right for you.

Exchanges:
Exchanges are accepted within 7 days of receipt of item. Please email me ASAP for exchange procedures. (If there is something in my shop that you want to exchange for, be sure to mention it in your email so I can reserve it for you)

Personalized items and any special orders are not exchangeable at any time.

Any compliments or critique is welcome, and I'll do my very BEST to resolve any issues you may have - just get in touch, I don't bite!

Custom Designs and Special Orders:
I welcome the opportunity to create something special for you and your loved ones! Please let me know what you'd like to order and we will work together to make it happen!

Email me with your request anytime, and please send me as much info as possible about what it is you desire - so we can get it right first time! :-) The more info you can give the easier it'll be for me to create that special item that you've been looking for.

Once I've completed your order, I'll email you to let you know when it's finished and send you some photos so you can check it's what you're looking for. Once you're happy with it I'll create the custom listing, and send an email to let you know its ready for purchase. Please purchase it with 10 days of the custom listing going up, or any specially negotiated prices may be voided and / or the listing taken down. If you're unable to complete the purchase within the 10 days please email me as soon as possible so we can make some other arrangements. :-)
