About

Created together

The idea for Blue Green Blue Design started in 2010, when we were creating hand-cut baby art while expecting our first child. Despite our related careers, we had never worked together. We loved creating artwork for our son's room, so we continued making art to give as gifts, and we eventually decided to start a shop to share prints beyond our family and friends. Starting BGB design gave us the opportunity to be creative together.

Our name came from our eye colors- Andrew has blue eyes, Kaitlyn has green eyes, and our son has blue eyes (so does our daughter, but we're not changing our shop name). Our little operation is truly a family affair. We work together on brainstorming, developing, and creating the designs. Kaitlyn oversees the daily operation of the shop and all communication, Andrew lends a hand on processing orders after long days at his job, and the kids are great "helpers" when we run errands for supplies or on trips to the post office.

We've loved being a part of the Etsy community and working with people from all over the world to create special prints.

Shipping
Production time on non-custom prints is 2-3 business days. Production time on custom prints is 1-2 weeks. Shipping will be done during the business week (Monday- Friday) through USPS.

International shipping takes approximately 7-15 business days. Unfortunately, USPS doesn't provide tracking on international orders. It can take upwards of 6 weeks for a print to arrive if a package gets caught up in customs. BGB Design is not responsible for custom delays or additional fees associated with customs.

If you require expedited shipping, please convo us and we will set up a new listing to accommodate your request. We ship everything in protective cello sleeve and a flat cardboard mailer.
Additional policies and FAQs
For custom orders please allow 1-2 weeks for production. We will send a digital proof to you for review and approval prior to shipping. Once the proof is approved, your print will be shipped.
