Searching for beautiful vintage glassware and unique items has become a recent hobby of mine. Many times I will discover some dish or bowl that evokes nostalgic memories of my childhood. I can instantly be transported back to my childhood home, a neighbor’s home from the past or friend’s home from my childhood by memories of where I may have encountered that vintage item in my past.

I enjoy finding that special item that catches my eye or surprises me with its sturdiness when held. I look forward to researching these items which capture my imagination to find out when it was made and I am often amazed at how well so many vintage wares have stood the test of time.

My favorite Etsy experiences are when someone finds a lovely glassware set once owned by their mother, or a bowl which matches that dish set handed-down from generation to generation, or that perfect wedding gift.
