I come from a family of knitters and crocheters but never met any of them, lol. So you could say it is hidden in the DNA. After recovering from thyroid issues in 2010, I had a need to learn knitting so I sat down and taught myself from online videos and books. Within the year I started creating my own designs and in 2013 launched Bluestockinette on etsy and was delighted by the warm reception and wonderful reviews that it received!

Bluestockinette is a happy refuge where I design Boho & Vintage Modern knitting patterns and knitwear for the free spirit.  My designs are centered around high-end fibers and meticulous details. The beauty of nature and whimsy of vintage styling are infinite sources of inspiration.

Most important to every pattern I design is that it is both fun & easy to make. Plus it will be something that you will be proud to wear for many years or give as a gift to someone special. 

All Bluestockinette designs are approved by his royal fuzziness/design consultant Blue Murphy (There is nothing ordinary about the kitten-lol)!  Blue now has his own assistants; Odie & Daisy (brother & sister-dynamic duo!).
