About

I love creating Keepsake Gifts that have meaning and inspire people! It's my happy place!

As I sit here at my desk, thinking about what I should design next, I get a little thrill as the ideas start flowing. Amid the raucous laughter of playing kids, a clingy, paper-shredding, barking puppy and a lazy, easy-going cat decorating my work tables; I can’t help to feel grateful to be here. I feel fortunate to be able to stay at home and create beautiful things with my two hands with my kids hanging out nearby, because for some reason they like to stay close, and that makes me happy..... Ok some, I mean, most of the time. 😉

I feel lucky to have been able to explore my interest and talents which have gotten me to this place. Along my journey, I’ve felt little nudgings throughout my life to learn certain skills or take certain classes. I have an inner need within me to create, I have tried to turn it off at times when life got too hectic, but I soon realized that I was happiest when I was creating. Creating revives and refreshes me from the chaos of life.

My first accessory I create way back in elementary school, before things like the Internet and Pinterest for ideas, was a hair bow used in one of many dances my sister, friends and I choreographed and performed for my parents. It was made out of a paper napkin with drops of food coloring dripped, swirled and dried on to make a huge colorful bow. Little did I know what that would turn into.

I love creating in a bunch of different medians. I love woodworking, sewing, stain glass, metalsmithing, upholstering….ok, I’ve tried a little of everything, but I love creating jewelry. I feel so much closer to Divinity as I'm sitting here designing and creating inspirational jewelry. I contemplate the goodness in people, in the love that they have for each other and God. It makes me happy to think I can help uplift another person by creating jewelry with a good message that they can share with others.

I love jewelry that means something, that people feel a connection to. I have had many people tell me that a quote that I have on a piece of my jewelry is something that their grandfather or mom would say to them all the time and it makes them smile; it makes me smile, too. I love sentimental jewelry.

I love what I do! I love giving people another way to share their light within. I was born to do this and I can’t imagine doing anything else in my life.

Thanks so much for being a part of my journey and I am so grateful to be a small part of yours!
