Hello. I'm Pamela Mortensen. I am a Portland-based didgeridoo maker and performer. Bluewood Didgeridoos was born on a cold winter's day in 2007 when I made my first didgeridoo in the snow at a didgeridoo making workshop in Olympia, Washington. Since then, I've been making didgeridoo primarily from yucca which is a light weight material from flower stalk the yucca plant. I love this craft and can't really think of anything else I'd rather do except for maybe playing them. I also make miniature didgeridoo charm necklaces under the DidgeTree logo. I started making these little gems when I had left over Apoxie Sculpt clay from making mouthpieces. Now,they have become really popular items among didgeridoo players and enthusiasts and have been a ton of fun to make!
Many thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions, please let me know at didgegnome6 [!at] gmail.com.
