My name is Theresa, let me introduce myself to you.

I started beading many years ago and when I first started I just loved making jewelry and over a year or so I accumulated a lot of jewelry so I started to sell it at Craft shows. I was so tickled that something I made could make someone else so happy, so that inspired me to make more jewelry. Before I knew it I had opened my own bead shop, Bobbles & Beads. I discovered several things at that little bead shop if you own a bead shop you don't have much time to make jewelry, you spend alot of time talking to other folks about the great items they are making, your customer's become a second family and doing inventory at the beginning of the year in a bead shop is no fun at all.

So I had the bead shop and worked full time, so basically I worked all day at my 9 to 5 job and then worked the bead shop at night and on the weekends. I enjoyed every minute of it and then my daughter had my first grandchild. I started worrying less about the bead shop and more about hanging out with my grandson, so I closed up shop, stored all my surplus inventory in the garage and gave up jewelry making for awhile. I am now the proud Grandmother of 2 lovely grandchildren and as time has went by I missed making jewelry. I have started making jewelry again and once again I have made more than I can possibly wear so I need an outlet to share my creations with others and for the moment that is Etsy.

Then there is the bead shop surplus, even if I made one piece of jewelry for the rest of my life I don't think I could use all of the beads I have accumulated. So that being said, in addition to my own creations I will soon be listing beads and such for others to create with. I can't have all the fun you know.
