Gorgeous piece. I've already worn it out and received several compliments. It arrived quickly in the mail, too. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
Crafting in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Bobkat Ranch Crafts got started when Bob Hughes (the Bob in Bobkat) purchased a glass kiln and transformed part of his pole barn into a workshop. It turns out working with glass is fun! And in short order, the house was full of bowls and plates made by Bob and his family. So we decided to open an Etsy shop. We provide our clients with unique, handmade items, and we get space to continue creating. It's a win-win.
For now, the pieces we sell here are made by Bob and his two daughters, Sarah Hughes and Ashley Shellhause. We make pieces using both cold (stained glass) and warm (kiln fired) glass working techniques. In the future, we may expand our product base (and creators - we have lots more family members!).
Ashley is a professional artist, and the Simi Valley branch of Bobkat Ranch Crafts, where she lives with her husband and daughter. Normally she works with acrylic paints, but when in Springville she trades her paintbrushes in for a glass cutter.
Animal lover, working part time at a small animal vet clinic and part time with her horse, Scarlett, and part time making glass pendants! Lives in Springville and makes up part of the Springville branch of Bobkat Ranch Crafts.
