Announcement   NEWS:

BohoKnitterChic Spins has been in business for over 7 years and specializes in hand spun art yarns for knitters and crocheters and hand dyed and blended batts, roving, and fleece for spinners and felters.

Here are the fineness counts of what I currently use:
- The bombyx silk that I use has a micron count of 13 and is 100s on the Bradford Count
- The regular merino top that I use has a micron count of 21.5 and is 64s on the Bradford Count
- The new superfine merino that I am getting has a micron count of 19 and is 70s on the Bradford count- so it is softer than the other merino I have used in the past.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Unfortunately, I will not be able to accept any custom fiber or yarn orders at this time.

Fiber, batts, and roving: Most fiber locks have been washed and dyed by me. All roving is hand-dyed and all batts are hand carded (or drum carded). Locks and batts could contain some vegetated material because I am not a stickler for picking those things out, but I try to mention in each listing whether or not there may be hay or grass in the fiber.

Batt Categories:

*Smoothie Batts: All smooth fibers, possibly silk noil, hemp, and flax that can be easily smoothed during spinning

*Textured Batts: Mixture of smooth and chunky fibers like locks, jumbo angelina, shredded money, banana silk, etc.

*Handspun Yarn: Each yarn is unique and can't be replicated, so please don't ask. This also means that yarn will not be "mill quality", meaning they may not be completely consistent in weight (actually most of them aren't, on purpose). I have tried to photograph their unique features, as many of them are very complex with lots of detail! If you have any questions, send me a message. I love chatting about yarn!

General Information About My Products:

- All computers project color differently. I have tried to photograph the colors to the best of my camera’s ability. I give a detailed description of my projects on each page, so hopefully there won’t be a color shock when they show up at your door, but there is always a chance that there will be slight color differences from what the listings photographs look like.

- My products are pieces of art handmade by me and none are made in a factory. This means that they my not be perfect, identical, and flawless. I have tried to capture any potential flaws in the photographs. If you have questions please ask before purchasing.

- I live in a pet friendly household (cats and dogs). While they are discouraged from coming near the fiber and yarn an occasional pet hair may be included in your purchase.
