About

A Passion for Toys + Kickstarter Success

We started with one dinosaur, and spent 6 months redesigning it to actually stand at a larger size in a variety of cool environmentally safe materials, and not look like the little ones we all grew up with. When that was done, we did another, and another, and another...and now, we have 9 different Boneyard Pets, in two different materials, in 14 different colors. Every one we showed them to, loved them. We did 3 Kickstarter campaigns with 3 different versions and all were incredibly successful.

The Company is going from strength to strength. From our Kickstarter campaigns, we were able to bring our Boneyard Pets to the online community. Having tested our product out in the retail environment at the Union Square Holiday market in New York, we were now ready to open up to the direct retail world. We participated in the NYNOW trade show, as well as the Toy Fair, and are consistently at many of New york City's ongoing weekend markets and fairs.

Where are you located?

Our workshop/office is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (NYC). We ship all of our items from this location as well.

Do you have a retail storefront?

At this moment in time, we do not.

We DO *lots* of pop-up shops around the greater New York area! Please subscribe to our Facebook events calendar to stay updated!

However, there are several brick-and-mortar (as well as online) retailers that do carry our products. A complete, interactive map and list of these stores is coming soon!

What are your toys made out of?

Komatex is a lightweight, closed-cell, free foam, rigid PVC sheet. It is homogeneously colored with a matte finish that is tough and versatile. Komatex is manufactured to be used for interior and limited exterior applications.
It has chemical and corrosion resistance, moisture resistance (will not rot), and a UL-94 VO flammability rating (very low). It is also approved for use where food is processed or sold.
Komatex sheets are not harmful to human health, or harmful to the environment in their manufacture, application and disposal. Komatex is free of lead, cadmium and barium, and complies with national and international regulations protecting health and the environment. Komatex is 100% recyclable.

How are they made? Who makes them?

Our dinosaurs are made on a routing machine via a technique called "Computer Numeric Control" by our small team of fabrication specialists in our Brooklyn workshop.
