{{ HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I grew up camping and visiting local rock shops, combing the beaches of Lake Superior, and craft shows. I also have fond memories of visiting garage/estate sales and thrift stores with my mother. This combination of exposure to the outdoors and local markets provided me with a unique admiration for all things creative. My first Etsy shop was called Bailey's Boudoir started August 2011. I now run Bonfire Vintage with a focus on quality vintage and handmade accessories specializing in gemstone jewelry.

{{ WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE & HOW DO YOU FIND THEM?
I buy my materials from all over the place! I find some of my stones on my own while beach combing. Other gemstones are purchased from local rock shops or online stone merchants. I really enjoy finding vintage settings, chains, and charms to incorporate into my designs.

{{ WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
When I'm not snapping a gazillion photos of products and listing, I am usually still creating something. I am a full-time art teacher at the local middle school and that definitely keeps me busy! I've always been a creative person-- I like to paint, sew, sculpt, reupholster, web design and garden. I also like to horseback ride, go camping and read a good Jane Austen novel.

CANCELLATION
If you would like to cancel an order, you must do so within one hour of placing your order. Please allow 1-3 days for the payment to be refunded. After the one hour mark, your order would be considered a return or exchange and your refund would be in the form of store credit only. Please see return and exchange policies below.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing store policies before purchase.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING
Please allow 3-5 business days (excludes weekends and holidays) for us to ship your order. Your order should arrive within 6-12 business days. Please bear in mind that some products may require additional time for creation or packaging. Shipments are generally sent out on Mondays and Fridays First Class Mail. If you would like to upgrade to Priority mail, please contact me. Priority mail includes insurance for up to $50.00 and tracking.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Please allow 3-5 business days handling time (excludes weekends and holidays) for us to ship your order. Your order should arrive within 10-20 business days. Please bear in mind that some products may require additional time for creation or packaging. Shipments are generally sent out on Mondays and Fridays First Class Mail. COMBINED SHIPPING
We do offer combined shipping discounts so if you would like to purchase multiple items at once, the shipping cost is lower. Combined shipping orders are usually shipped together in the same package, but on some occasions may ship separately due to size or shape. I will notify you of this in advance. Combined shipping is a lower per item shipping cost, so the more you order, the better deal you get! If you are interested in purchasing more than ten items, please contact me for a reduced shipping cost.

SHIPPING INSURANCE
Insurance is included in all transactions over $50.00 (excludes shipping costs). If you would like to add insurance to your order, please contact us prior to checkout. Insurance covers loss or damage during shipment. Though we strive to package our products carefully, insurance can cover issues or mistakes made by the U.S. postal office beyond our control. Buyers are responsible for acting on insurance claims. Insurance costs an additional $3.00. Please message me that you would like the extra insurance before the item is shipped.

Refunds and Exchanges
DOMESTIC RETURNS
I want my Bonfire customers to be satisfied! If for any reason you regret your purchase, you may return your order for store credit (minus original shipping charges and buyer pays for return shipping costs.) Returns are accepted on most items within 7 days of receiving your item. Items must be returned in the same condition (unworn and clean).

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Due to customs laws and shipping times, we do not accept international returns. Please read all descriptions carefully and inspect photos for condition.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
I am a very approachable and reasonable seller and take pride in the way I choose, display and showcase my products. On the very rare occasion that an item was grossly misrepresented or there was an error in shipping, please contact me. I would much rather make my customers happy than receive negative feedback without notice.

HANDMADE & VINTAGE
As many of my products include vintage components, please expect that my handmade jewelry might show some slight superficial flaws or oxidation. We believe that these qualities create a truly unique piece of jewelry that will last years for to come.
