BongeraFiligrana's Shop Announcement

The filigree technique, "The way of modelling the wire" as Benvenuto Cellini described it in his treaty about the goldsmith's art, was used for the first time in the III millenium b.c. in the Middle Eastern Countries.
Later on, in the late Roman period and in the Middle Age, it spread in Sicily, in Venice, in Genoa and finally al over Europe. The Filigree technique perfectly matched with the baroque art and it flourished again in the XIX century and at the beginning of the XX century.
