I absolutely loved a print I saw by Bonnie, however the colors did not match my decor. I contacted Bonnie and she customized the piece with the colors I wanted. It came out beautifully and I am so happy with the quality. I also cannot say enough about Bonnie and her professionalism, kindness and her timely responses. She is truly a gifted individual. Thank you Bonnie.

About

Taking the Leap into Art

For over thirty years, I worked with words. Every day I'd sit at my computer and write articles, greeting cards, columns, and books for a variety of publishers. I knew from the time I was ten years old, growing up in a small northern California town (population 5,000), that I wanted to write books someday. Although I loved my work, there came a time when I felt the tug to shift gears, to create art--something with color and texture, and a mood that would make people happy.

One day I took the leap. I traded words for art, and I've never been happier. The thought of artmaking nudges me out of bed at 5:30 on most mornings. It's work I look forward to, and even that word, "work" seems out of place, because truly--I love creating and it never, ever feels like work. Certain nature photos will lead me a step further, as I paint, texturize, and layer selected images into something brand new.

I've been humbled by the people I've met on Etsy. These are rare opportunities and I don't take any connection lightly--like the young dad who requested a custom order for his wife, in honor of their baby boy who had passed away. Or the couple who needed three large- format abstracts to hang on the staircase landing of their new home. Recently I had the privilege of working with a parent who was struggling with terminal cancer. He wanted to honor his children and spouse with a personalized Memory Pillow for each of them.

Etsy provides the tools I need to present my work in an easy-to-maneuver format. Distance doesn't matter. How each person finds their way to my humble little shop is beyond me, but my greatest joy in this business is hearing them describe what they're after and being able to do the back-and-forth work until they're satisfied with the results.

I feel very blessed.

I'm passionate about art, and list prints that I personally enjoy. In fact, I won't list anything that I wouldn't be proud to hang in my own home. A satisfied customer is music to my ears.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept cancellations
Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase
I don't accept returns or exchanges
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
My shop is a Made to Order shop. I don't keep a brick and mortar store, so therefore keep no inventory. Please shop with your exact color needs in mind, as Made to Order items in my listings are non-returnable. However, I make it easy for you to match a product with your exact color needs. Here's how:

Request a Sherwin-Williams color analysis, if you aren't sure whether a listing will mesh well with your decor or wall color. I will then run a digital image through a tool they developed for interior designers and home owners. It gives a readout of the exact colors found in an image, plus corresponding SW paint colors. (Note: I am in no way associated with SW, but simply trust their color tools.)

Keep in mind that I accept cancellations within two days of purchase, if you ultimately decide against ordering. No problem!

Finally, please read the *entire* listing in detail, as it lays out exactly what you will be receiving. I'm happy to answer any questions up front, BEFORE you make a decision to place an order.

Payment
I accept and recommend Paypal as a payment option. It's quick, safe, and free to use. Paypal orders are processed usually the same day. If you prefer to use a credit card, you will also have that option at Checkout. Direct Checkout orders (credit cards) take a bit longer to process, as I begin work once payment has been cleared --usually 3-4 business days.

Please make sure that you’re supplying the correct shipping address for your order. Double-check the information you've listed with Etsy, please. I DO NOT SHIP TO P.O. BOX ADDRESSES. Please supply a *physical* address or I won't be able to fill your order. Thank you.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Buyers are responsible for all duties, taxes, levies or fees incurred at point of entry to the buyer's country. For more information about specific country's import laws and customs/duties, please take a look: www.dutycalculator.com/country-guides
I encourage buyers to find out about about their country's import laws and customs/duties.
Shipping
I begin work on a product once payment has cleared. When it is ready to ship, I send out a notification along with a tracking number.

I ship globally. Shipping rates can be found with each listing.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

Occasionally I'm asked to help supply art for unique projects, such as transferring an image to glass or metal for a particular piece of cabinetry or other artwork in the home. In those instances, I am able to provide a high-resolution image by creating a Custom Listing. Etsy will then invoice the buyer. Once purchased, buyer will receive a link where the digital file can be downloaded. These files are large (up to 20 MB), and are sold with a license for one-time use for a specific project. Digital downloads are not refundable.
