Dit is mijn verhaal:
Ik bond mijn eerste handgemaakte boek in 2016, toen ik op zoek was naar een cadeau voor een vriendin. Mijn vriendin vond het mooi en vroeg of ik een gastenboek voor hun broer of zus kon maken. Ik zei "ja!"
Ik word zo blij als ik mensen zie glimlachen als ik ze het boek geef dat ik heb ingebonden. Sindsdien maak ik zelf notitieboekjes en schetsboeken voor lessen of als cadeau voor vrienden.
Nadat ik er verliefd op werd, maak ik er nu Books Bind Faye van.

Boeken binden Faye introductie:
Mijn belangrijkste producten zijn Mulberry-papier en Lokta-papier, handgeschept papier.
Ik kies voor Thais moerbeipapier omdat het meeste papier met de hand in Thailand wordt gemaakt. En omdat het papier van hoge kwaliteit is. Moerbeipapier geeft een mooie textuur als het wordt gescheurd. Je ziet het terug in de meeste van mijn handgemaakte moerbeiboeken, waar de binnenkant van de omslagen en de voorkant bedekt zijn met glad moerbei.
(*in het gedeelte 'Designer Choice' wordt ook moerbeipapier gebruikt, maar geen Thais moerbeipapier.*)
Lokta-papier is ook handgemaakt, maar komt uit Nepal. Je ziet het overal in mijn advertenties.

Wat is het gedeelte 'Designer Choice'?
A: De covers zijn door mij ontworpen. De meeste zijn abstracte kunstwerken die ik ontwerp op basis van mijn inspiratie. Je vindt elk thema en verhaal terug in elke productbeschrijving.
▪️Elk ontwerp is erg tijdrovend, van het plannen, ontwerpen, kiezen van de kleurtoon, uitzoeken van het moerbeipapier tot het samenvoegen ervan tot elke afzonderlijke omslag.
▪️Elk ontwerp is uniek en je vindt ze nergens anders, behalve bij Books bind Faye.
Elk boek dat ik inbind en elk boek dat ik maak, doe ik met veel liefde en passie.

Here is my story:
I bound my first handmade book in 2016 when I was looking for a gift for a friend. It came out that my friend liked it and asked if I could make their sibling a wedding guest book. I said "yes!"
I feel so delighted when I see people smiling when I hand them the book i bound. Since then, I started making notebooks, sketchbooks myself for classes or friends as a gift.
After i fall in love with it. Now i turn it into Books bind Faye🐣

Books bind Faye introduction:
My main products are Mulberry papers and Lokta papers, which are handmade papers.
I choose Thai Mulberry papers because most of the papers are handmade in Thailand. And because they are great quality papers. Mulberry paper gives a really nice texture when torn. You can see them in most my handmade mulberry books, where inside covers are covered with smooth mulberry, as well as the front covers.
(*designer choice section also uses mulberry papers but not Thai mulberry papers.*)
Lokta papers are also handmade but from Nepal. You will see them throughout my listings.

What is the designer choice section?
A: The covers are designed by me. Most of them are abstract arts that I design them based on my inspiration that you will fine each theme and story in each product description.
▪️Each design is really time-consuming, from planning, designing, choosing the color tone, picking the mulberry papers, and putting them together into every each single cover.
▪️Each design is unique, and you can not find them elsewhere except at Books bind Faye.
Every single books I bind, every book I make, I make them with all my love and passion.
