West meets East
I opened Botene Creations after requests from friends and customers from my other easy store "Botene" asking for customizing the beautiful and colorful fabrics to make statement pieces for memorable occasions. That inspired me to open this boutique just for them.
A lot of thought went through before I designed my first bag. After talking to all my friends with babies, I tried to narrow down the issues they had been facing with their current bag and the things they would like to have.
Entering motherhood is new for every women and knowing what you will need in advance is not possible. So, I designed a bag keeping mom and her baby's need in mind - that includes lots of pockets - outside and inside, waterproof lining for easy clean, zipper closure for security, elastic pockets for security and alot of space to keep everything you will need on the go. Not to forget - attached stroller straps so that she doesn't need to carry bag anymore.
These bags are filled with a lot of details that allows you to use it as a everyday bag even after your child is grown out of it. Our designs are fun, elegant, functional, durable and just stylish!
I always wanted to combine my love for fabrics, texture, colors and prints to create statement pieces. When I am in the fabric store I spend hours going through the different fabrics, trims and textures, touching the fabric and envisioning what it would look like paired with another fabric.
Mix of modern and functional, along with eastern hints seen on the choices of colors and prints makes it a timeless piece, a rare find. Independently designed and carefully handcrafted in Botene studio in downtown Chicago. Each product is measured, cut, sewn and finished with careful attention to detail and durability.
