I love selling my art, and I want you to be very happy to have bought it. The policies listed here are general guidelines, however I aim to please and will do my best to accommodate you. I'm all about the win/win.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal. In the future I hope to be able to accept online credit card payments, however at this time I'm not able.

As soon as I receive payment, I will ship first class US mail within three business days. If I'm not able to do so for some reason, I will let you know in advance. I will do my best to ship the same or next day payment is received whenever possible.

You may cancel a purchase at any time prior to shipping for a full refund.
Shipping
Upon receipt of payment I will ship first class US mail within three business days. If I'm not able to do so for some reason, I will let you know in advance.

I ship everything insured, so items lost or damaged in shipping will receive a full refund. If you would like to waive the insurance let me know and I will reduce the shipping price by $2.50. However, if you waive the insurance, I cannot refund or replace lost/damaged merchandise. Better safe than sorry!

I will ship to other countries or by other/faster methods if you request. I'm new at this, so please be patient while I figure out what it will take to get your purchase fulfilled in the best way possible and how much to charge for the upgrade.

I'm not trying to make money on the shipping. If I've charged you more than $2 over what actual shipping costs me, I'll refund the difference.

I like to use recycled materials when possible. If you would prefer only new packaging please advise and I'll make sure to use all new stuff.

If a shipped items gets returned undeliverable I will contact you as soon as I discover the problem. If it was my error I will pay to re-ship. If it was your error, I will need to charge the actual shipping price again.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will provide a full refund of purchase price if you return the unopened package to me at your shipping expense within 30 days. I'll refund the money as soon as I get the item back in the same condition I sent it out.

I am dedicated to good craftsmanship. If something I've made breaks under normal usage within the first 30 days, you can send it back to me and I will repair or replace it to the best of my ability. If I'm not able to do that for some reason, I will refund your purchase price. If there is some major problem with something I've made after the 30 days, please let me know. I really do want you to be happy and will make every effort to be of service.

Keep in mind these are all handmade items, and bracelets in particular need to be treated with kindness :) Sometimes we don't notice all the things we do with our hands!

If you do need to send something back, please package it comparable to the way it was shipped to you.

I do my best to thoroughly and accurately describe my work and generally include multiple photographs, including one that shows the measurements. I want you to be confident about exactly what you're getting. I cannot accept returns on jewelry or hair accessories because I cannot ensure that they have not been worn.

Please double check your size with a tape measure before ordering. I can't usually change the size on things after they're completed. I cannot refund jewelry that is the wrong size. I'm happy to do custom orders and may be able to rig an extender for jewelry items for a small fee.
Additional policies and FAQs
My home studio is tobacco free and I don't use air freshener or sprays. I don't spray chemicals or fragrances on things as a general rule. I occasionally burn incense while I work.

There are several cats and a dog in my home.

I have taken vows of not killing, and do not purchase/use new cruelty-based products including leather, pearls, silk, and fur. However, I have some materials that I have collected over 30+ years, including some of the above. I do occasionally use the leather and pearls that I already have. I'm careful to list all items used in the description.

I do sometimes reclaim the above items. For example, I have taken an old leather coat that was being discarded and reused the usable portions of the leather out of respect for the animal it came from. I repurpose and recycle whenever possible as a core value.

I use circulated foreign coins and other found objects. If I'm using a found/reclaimed object I will note that in the description. Sometimes I clean them, sometimes I don't, depending on the object. I don't use things that are filthy. I don't clean circulated coins because I like the patina. Things like votive holders or aquarium gravel will be washed before use.

Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us :) I happily do custom orders with a 50% deposit. The other 50% and shipping cost will be due on shipping. Please note that I am only one person and it takes me a while to make things, so please order custom stuff well in advance to make sure I can meet your deadline.
