From hand-carved natural gourds to wood-burned wall art. I simply love rustic home decor, and believe that rustic spaces are happy places!

The beautiful brown color in my artwork is created with pyrography, "drawing with fire". It is the perfect complement to the reclaimed wood that I use to create rustic home décor. I personally wood-burn each letter & all the artwork by hand, using pyrography tools. The colors & textures found in & made by nature have always inspired me. I incorporate those elements into my designs, bringing the outside in! I seek out the wood to reclaim, piecing the colors & textures together to create a wonderfully rustic canvas. The weathered wood is lightly sanded down. Leaving much of the natural patina created by the outdoor elements over time. Slight cracks & nail heads are left "as is" for added rustic texture. Each piece is unique, with a rustic weathered finish that can only be found when using reclaimed wood.
