About

Heirloom Garden Vegetable Seeds for people who are trying to grow their own healthy food.

Welcome to Box Garden Seeds, we are located in Ammon, Idaho. We offer open-pollinated and heirloom garden seeds. We focus on natural, small space, season-extending gardening techniques. We use a combination natural box garden, raised bed, square foot, cubed foot, and lasagna gardening, with an urban twist to grow most of our tomato seeds and gardens. We also have a select group of organic sources we get other garden seeds from.

We have been growing Heirloom tomatoes for about 40+ years and have been selling Heirloom tomato seeds for 20+ years. We started out selling our produce and seeds at farmers markets in this area and now Etsy.

We have expanded to offer a larger variety of naturally grown seeds for your garden. Offering a wider selection of natural vegetable seed for people who are trying to grow their own healthy food.

I have signed "The Safe Seed Pledge":

"Agriculture and seeds provide the basis upon which our lives depend. We must protect this foundation as a safe and genetically stable source for future generations. For the benefit of all farmers, gardeners, and consumers who want an alternative,

We pledge that we do not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants.

The mechanical transfer of genetic material outside of natural reproductive methods and between genera, families or kingdoms, poses great biological risks as well as economic, political, and cultural threats. We feel that genetically engineered varieties have been insufficiently tested prior to public release. More research and testing are necessary to further assess the potential risks of genetically engineered seeds. Further, we wish to support agricultural progress that leads to healthier soils, genetically diverse agricultural ecosystems and ultimately healthy people and communities."

Favorite Customer Feedback:

WOW!!! I just wanted to say how impressed and thankful I was when I opened my order from you. Which got here in with the speed of light! I wasn't sure how I would get the seeds and was so happy and delighted when I saw how carefully and with skill, you packaged them. I love that you have a photo of the "grown-ups" and that you also took the time to include planting tips. It's great that they are in easy to seal and store zip bags. =)
I'm super thrilled and very impressed. Thank You so much and I'll be leaving stellar reviews when Etsy lets me.

I can't express enough how thrilled I was to receive this order. I was and still am UBER pleased with how my seeds arrived. First off, they got to me super fast and arrive safely, packaged nicely. I was impressed and pleased to find that every seed packet was securely packaged in are seal-able bag professionally labeled and even had a photo for reference. Also included were planting tips for that seed. I highly recommend this seller and applaud his diligence for his craft which he has shown with a passion.

THANK YOU!!!! All seeds packaged well with full planting instructions! Thanks for the extra bonus!!! The package came rather fast, even though the weather delayed the mail a bit. I am SO excited to plant these seeds and I will update my review later on in the warm season. Thanks again! Great Etsy store!
