I bought this etched mug as a wedding gift for my 14-year-old ring bearer and we both loved it! It is a really high-quality product for a great price and it shipped really quickly. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

Wonderful mug. Extremely fast shipping and heavy, sturdy glass. My father loved it!
After 20 years of working as a commercial artist, I yearned to craft pieces more organic, more tangible—art that can be held and cherished for years. At the time, one of my professional hobbies was etching, engraving and carving architectural glass. The one-of-a-kind doors, windows and cabinets I created for custom homes always attracted attention and accolades. Why couldn’t I transfer those skills and that passion to glass engraving on a smaller scale? Initially I dabbled with etching vases and wine glasses to commemorate special occasions for friends, but requests kept coming. And coming. With the help of my wife Maggie and our two children, a business of specialty glass and crystal naturally evolved, and soon blossomed.
All our original, custom glass art begins with an idea, which I initially design and sketch on paper. When I've captured the essence of the concept, I recreate it digitally, which then allows me to fine tune and manipulate the design to further customize it. Once we are fully satisfied with the final art, we employ a series of processes to transfer the image to the glass before carefully engraving the design using a fine aggregate sandblasting technique. Sandblasting, unlike laser engraving or acid etching, offers a deeper, crisper engraving—engraving you can see and feel—with wonderful light-catching qualities. This technique, which we’ve mastered, creates a depth and texture that is unmatched by other forms of engraving.
