My girlfriend loved this basket she puts her bread in it, as it is oven safe she warms her bread and muffins in it. Loves the colors and the craftsmanship. I will definitely buy from this artist again.

Handmade Ceramics in the Mountains of North Carolina

My Mountain Studio

I have been working and creating with clay for many years and have recently opened this Etsy shop with a few items that I consistently make to begin this online journey.
My studio is in Western North Carolina in the small town of Brevard. We are in the Blue Ridge Mountains and are known as the Land of the Waterfalls. Nature is what gives me inspiration for everything I create.
I buy my clay from a local source and I make my glazes from dry components and pigments. I have two kilns where each piece gets fired twice. Every item I make will differ slightly from one another because they are made by hand and each firing will vary due to factors like the weather or how the latest glaze batch turns out.
