"Who Rescued Who?"
Once upon a time not too long ago a little blind Lhasa came into our home...
After escaping a near death by being deemed unworthy as a pet, he got the second chance that many didn't bet. "Deaf, old and blind" is what they said, "nobody will adopt him, he's better off dead." The new puppies are what people want. Because it is in with the new, out with the old...or so that's what we are told.
We can tell you this, our little Brando has brought us bliss. He has taught us to reevaluate what is seen as dispensable and has subsequently caused us to become more sensible.
Yes, it might have a little rust and a slight layer of dust. But that doesn't stop us from seeing it's inner lust-er. An item's rebirth starts when it's history becomes unearthed.
What we go on and create carries a lot of weight. The future that we all want to enjoy is going to be based on what we refuse to destroy.
"Reuse, reclaim, recycle" is that integral part of our business cycle.

You may be wondering Who Is Brando? Brando is a eyeless, blind dog that was abandoned in the Bronx, NY. Brought into an animal control center that didn't notice his potential as a great companion, he was put on the euthanasia list. It was through my fiance and I's adoption that Brando got a new lease on life. Once considered "disposable" Brando's companionship has proven to be top tier. Brando is the inspiration for this shop.
Here at Brando's Funky Finds my fiance and I try to scope out and pick unique items. Seen as disposable to some but having potential to others, we strive to bring the best back into the market for revival. All of our items are used, aged, and have their own stories - some might have rust, others dust, but be sure that whatever it may have we will convey. Inspired by our dog Brando's story and in the spirit of recycling and sustainability, uncovering discarded treasures and helping them find new homes is our passion. We go "picking" often, so always check back for new finds!
