5 out of 5 starsCathy is such an incredible artist to work with. This is the second time I've asked her to make a custom piece for me, and I wasn't all that helpful--all I told her was that I'd like an accent piece to match the general color scheme of my library. The tile she created is gorgeous: intricate and meticulous and perfectly on point with the metallics in the other accent pieces around it. I am so pleased with this piece and this artist. She's fantastic.

5 out of 5 starsSo intricate! I made a bouquet of whimsical wool flowers to fill it. My step-mom loved it!

5 out of 5 starsSuch an awesome experience. Cathy made me four custom ornaments based on a rather minimal description from me of my steampunk Christmas tree, and they could not be more PERFECT.
n
nShe also took less than a week to get them finished.

nA+ seller!
About BraunlinCreativeArts
Chosen by Clay
I began working with polymer clay over 15 years ago when I bought a clearance package of purple clay that I tried to turn into a butterfly with little success.
I was inspired by seeing some filigree work and decided to see what I could do with small strings of polymer clay. My first filigree project was a Christmas ornament covered in strings and colored with metallic powder to mimic a Raku look achieved in pottery. Once I knew it had a unique and appealing look, I tried it on almost anything I could.
Each filigree piece I make is created by individually coiling the strings over a base layer of clay. I've been told I have an incredible amount of patience, but truly it is very relaxing and therapeutic for me.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work.

I have been working with polymer clay for over 10 years. My main technique uses small extruded strings of clay individually placed for pattern and texture.
