First and foremost I am inspired each day when I wake up and am able to spend time with all of our animals and then to be able to create products that are healthy to use with their help is such an amazing thing. They are all part of our family.
My husband and I started our farm with a few goats and a few mini donkeys as pets back in 2010. We had visited a local farmers market and came across a vendor selling goat milk soap. We could not believe how good our skin felt after using that soap,especially after using a soap that is made with moiturizing cream but still left our skin dry feeling.
We had started researching what was in our commercially made soap and became very concerned about the harmful chemicals that we had been using all these years and knew we had to make a change and we encourage you take a look into the bath and body products that you are using on your skin . What you put on your body is as important as what you put in your body.
We had an opportunity to take a class to learn how to make our own goat milk soap. After researching about donkey milk we couldn't believe all of the benefits in their milk . So we searched for farms in the USA making soap using donkey milk to no avail but found several in Europe . We then decided to add donkey milk to our soap recipe which I make in small batches right here on our farm in the beautiful Sebasticook Region in Maine. As far as we know we were the first farm in the USA to offer Donkey Milk Soap .

We are community driven as well. We offer our products in 30 local credit unions (and growing) around the state and the profits benefit their Ending Hunger in Maine Campaign.
