Breakout Press Co is a witty and bold stationery and gifts brand established in 2011
Krissy Monahan, boss lady and designer behind the brand is pursuing her career as a high school art teacher but felt she needed a creative outlet to "Breakout" from the demands of teaching. Using her Masters degree in printmaking, Breakout Press Co was born.
As demand grew, her husband Price Goosby, chief dude, lead screen printer and in charge of sales can be found in our print studio in Catskill, NY slinging ink, popping up at local events and always on the hunt for tasty treats and espresso.

About Breakout Press Co.
I grew up in a family of makers. My grandmother and mother were both florists and a hobbyist of all kinds of craft. I consider myself to be a maker, a printmaker to be specific. I went to school to become an art teacher, which I currently am by day but my true love is being a screen printer by night and weekend. Breakout Press Co. originated directly after I graduated from college. For anyone who knows screen printing, it can be difficult to pursue on the side. It requires a lot of materials and space. However, my love for the medium was not going to let that get in my way. My passion for the art form is what motivated me to open my shop. Breakout Press Co. was my way of providing affordable stationary and cloth goods to the world while fulfilling my passion to sling ink and squeegees whenever I can.
