Some small changes I plan to do until September. Most of you know this already but I work at a HS and you don't get paid over the Summer. I plan to not keep the MCN and stellina gold fingering in the shop until September. Next Shop Update 7/3

About

It wasn't until I was 19 when I actually starting knitting and crocheting. When I first started I was excited to even learn how to cast on stitches! From there I only wanted to learn more! I wanted to learn how to make blankets, learn how to make socks, learn how to make scarves, hats, mittens, everything! Once I did all of those patterns I wanted to learn more!
It wasn't until I went to Notre Dame of Maryland University where I met my Spanish teacher, Ann Rader. She introduced me to hand dyed yarn and we even knitted together on our lunch breaks! She suggested that I go down to the yarn shop and buy some yarn and knit from that, and so I did! I went down to Lovely Yarns where I was fascinated with all of the colors and creations that other people made.

I knitted up socks, hats, and more! Soon I wanted to learn how to actually make the stuff! As a college student at the time, I was broke. So I just focused on research and wrote down everything that I needed to begin dyeing. I came across a video of a woman making yarn outside in crockpots(I'll attach a link). CROCKPOTS?! I thought that was crazy until I saw what she was doing! She inspired me so much that I began saving up everything that I had to invest!

It wasn't until 2015, when I finally graduated and got a job, that I was able to buy some yarn and tools. I experimented and learned from my mistakes and hey ... my mistakes I ended up selling online now.

At first I just wanted make the yarn for myself and didn't plan to sell. But, after my friends and family encouraged me, I finally decided to open up shop and show the world what I have to offer. I am still learning but every time I make a new colorway I learned something about myself.

I want to thank my friends and family for all of the support that I received from them!
I could not do this without you guys!

The yarn is my canvas and I can make anything that I put my mind to. I'm super creative and always looking to experiment with colors and techniques.

Frequently asked questions

Wholesale availability

I am more than happy to sell in wholesale! Just send me an email or message me on here and then we can discuss further!

Do you make customs?

From time to time, yes! Depending on my work load will determine if I can do it or not. But do not hesitate to ask! If I can't I will gladly recommend someone to you. The best time to reach out to me for customs is the Summer!

Can I order more than what is available?

Yes! Please message me and let me know which yarn you are interested in. All my yarns are a repeatable pattern and can be quickly made.

What Shops are you in?

I'm currently in:
Lovely Yarns - MD
Wooly Mammoth Yarn Shop - NE
Carriage House - TN

Is my yarn ready to ship?

Because I am still small, I do not make a lot of the colorways in bulk. A lot of the orders are next day shipping regardless if I have to make them or not. So don't be discouraged ;)
If you order after 4pm on Sunday please expect it to be shipped the following shipping day (Wednesday), except Holiday Season (it would ship Tuesday).
