I love these keys and locks, and Brenda's handmade earwires are the BEST. They don't poke you like french hooks do and they won't fall out. Thanks!

These would be...my fourth pair of earrings from this shop. They aren't heavy, but nice and light. My purchases are always packaged well and shipped fast. Little touches like tying pairs together so they don't get tangled on the journey is so thoughtful. She has great communication too! I'll see you again!

About

Me

Hi ya'll! I hail from West Texas. Even though I'm a southern girl at heart, I've lived in the beautiful Northwest for 30 years. My Mother was already living here, and my circumstances at the time led me to follow her. A three day ride on a Greyhound bus with a two year old was quite the adventure, but it was the beginning of my new life as a single Mom. Many years have gone by since...my son is grown up now, having sons of his own and making me a very happy Meema!

I started making jewelry in 2006 as Christmas gifts. Earlier that year, my Mother gave me a box packed full of beads, tools, supplies and a jewelry learning book. I thought..."I can't do that" so I shoved the box in the closet and there it sat for months, that is, until one month before Christmas. My funds were short, and I didn't know what I was going to do for gifts. I thought about that box in the closet and decided to finally go through it and give it a shot. I ended up making lots of earrings and even a necklace and earrings set! Much to my surprise, my family raved about my designs. My late brother, Robert, told me I had found my niche, and boy he was right!

I came across etsy by chance one day, opened my shop on May 21, 2007 and made my first sale 16 days later. Since then, I've sold many more pieces online and started selling locally in 2013. I've met the most amazing artists, and I have the BEST customers! My jewelry has been published in multiple "Bead Trends" magazines, including the cover for the April 2011 issue. It's amazing what can happen when you take a chance and try something new. All you have to do is "begin." I'm very thankful for that box of beads, and I'm forever grateful to my Mother for giving it to me.

My passion for making jewelry is never ending, and I'm happy to be able to share it with others. Thank you so much for your interest in my story and my jewellry creations.

NOTE: My new blog has been put on the back burner for a while due to a family matter. I'm hoping to introduce my new blog in early 2017.
