Beautiful Design Given a New Purpose
It all started simply enough; a friend's kitchen, a pile of beads and a new passion was born. Brewed Adornments blossomed from that fledgling start into a focus on recycled and repurposed jewelry design. Bottle caps quickly became my muse and I'm honored to add my artistry to that of the unsung graphic designer behind the logos.
Much thought is given to a bottle cap's design, after all there is only 25mm of space to express the passion the brewer infuses in each bottle. For the brewer, it's all about the flavor and I strive to capture that in each piece of jewelry I create. My pieces are meant to be worn; like a well crafted beer, they can be elegant and complex or rugged and full bodied.
At Brewed Adornments the goal is transformation and is not limited to bottle caps. In 2014, I was introduced to Crystaletts, a tiny crystal button that is revolutionizing chainmaille jewelry construction. I offer a variety of chainmaille tutorials and patterns using these amazing Stud, Spike, 3mm Crystal and 5mm Crystal buttons. The bulk of my shop is now devoted to this growing line of DIY kits and supplies.
Sit back with your favorite beverage and peruse my listings. I can almost see your smile as you spot a cap that brings back memories of childhood, or a special moment spent with a friend. If you don't see your favorite, contact me, I have a growing collection of caps and artwork and I will gladly custom brew a piece of jewelry for you to capture that memory.
Mother, daughter, sister, friend, jewelry design. Balancing these roles is a rewarding challenge.
