Announcement   PLEASE READ!
Due to a large influx of orders, our lead time has increased slightly and we're now booking furniture orders for January 2018.

THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE DOG BEDS! If you're looking to order one of our Bricker & Bark dog beds, we've got you covered! : )

We're working to add more team members to address the increased volume, but we refuse to sacrifice quality and want to ensure each piece gets the level of craftsmanship that we are proud to present to customers.

Cheers,
Josh

About

Bricker & Beam is a custom furniture operation specializing in marrying modern, clean-lined design with heirloom-quality craftsmanship.

Based in Columbia, South Carolina, on the convergence of the Saluda, Broad and Congaree Rivers, Bricker & Beam is a custom furniture operation specializing in marrying modern, clean-lined design with heirloom-quality craftsmanship.

The brainchild of owner and lead designer, Josh Cox, Bricker & Beam focuses on creating signature pieces of furniture that tell a story. Whether it be the source of materials brought in by a customer, or a collaborative concept developed in-house with the team, Bricker & Beam believes furniture should stand for something beyond itself; something meaningful.

Each piece is made to order in the company’s shop, providing the opportunity to work closely with every client toward a tailored furniture solution for their specific needs. With a particular affinity for exceptional design and one of a kind architecture, Bricker & Beam aims to incorporate various materials into its work, including leather, steel, glass and premier hardwoods.

In addition to custom commissions, Bricker & Beam also offers a growing number of original furniture collections including its popular Evans and Ellington lines - each named after beloved jazz musicians.

Bricker & Beam is named in honor of Cox’s grandfather, Jim Kollar, who taught him woodworking in his warehouse beginning in the 1980’s. Mr. Kollar still resides on Bricker Hill in Salem, Ohio, where he has lived and worked for over 40 years.

-General Disclaimer-
Because all of our products are individually made by hand with local materials, each item may have a slight variation in color, grain pattern, and texture. It shouldn't be anything too substantial, but just as no two people are alike, no two pieces of wood or leather are alike.

That being said, if one of our products shows up damaged or defective upon delivery, we're more than happy to trade it out for a new one. Simply send us an Etsy message that includes a picture of the defect, then ship the item back to us, and we'll send you a new one.

All product colors, sizes, and functions are clearly listed in each product description, and it is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with each and ensure the product will fit within the parameters of what they're looking for. While we're happy to work with customers to replace items that show up damaged, we don't offer refunds or replacements for customers who simply change their mind and no longer want a product.
Shipping
For all of our smaller products we provide tracking numbers and $50 insurance for the package through USPS. If you suspect your package has been lost or stolen, please send us a message regarding the purchase and we'll get in touch with USPS to see what can be done.

All furniture items are shipped via freight carrier unless otherwise noted, and will arrive in a wooden crate. In order to call ahead to schedule a delivery, the freight company will require a contact phone number - please include this in the NOTES section of your order.

It is the customer's responsibility to open and inspect the furniture upon arrival and immediately report any damage - within two days of arrival. In the unlikely event of damage, please send us clear pictures of both the damaged crate and the corresponding damage on the furniture. We'll use those pictures to get in touch with the freight company and work toward getting a replacement piece for you.
