About

My own little gallery

I have been a printmaker, making original hand pulled etchings, since 2006 when I did a weekend course in dry point etching. It was a revelation to me, finally I'd found what I wanted to do!

I have exhibited in numerous galleries in Melbourne and regional Victoria in Australia. Also in the UK and Ireland (I'm originally from Northern Ireland) but I was missing the direct contact with customers. In 2008 I decided to open my etsy shop, my own little gallery for my work and sell direct to customers. Of course I was still going to sell through galleries so I needed to price my work accordingly so as not to undercut the galleries who look after me so well.

As the years passed I worked less and less part time jobs and was able to work full time at the job I loved. I now have my own studio with my own printing press and I teach classes in various printmaking techniques. If you live near Daylesford, Victoria, Australia do call in!

For examples of how my work is made see my how to blog posts -

(However I normally dry point onto perspex these day since I don't have access to an acid bath anymore)

Hello and welcome to my etsy shop. I believe there is something more in a handmade item, it is made with focus and care and part of the maker is reflected in the outcome. Almost like the item has a little spark of life in it!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Other Method
Payment
I accept payment via Paypal, credit card, etsy gift vouchers and direct deposit into my bank account (within Australia only.)
Shipping
I try and ship as soon as I can but I live in the country and can't always get to the post office straight away. I try and post within 3 days of purchase.

I will ship to the address provided by etsy, please make sure your address is correct. Also, if your purchase is a gift for someone and you would like it posted directly to them let me know. I can also include a message from you, simply email me the message and I can print it out and include it in the package.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with your item please contact me via email or convo. You can return your item to me within 30 days and I will give you a refund. (buyer pays return shipping)
I can not be held responsible for items lost in the post. I make sure each parcel is packaged carefully and addressed clearly. If you haven't received your item within 3 months (this seems a long time but parcels have gone astray and turned up after three months! (not etsy parcels, stuff sent from my mum in ireland to me when I was living in Australia)) convo me and we can work something out.
