About

Rocks. Minerals. Gemstones. A New Life!

I feel extremely lucky every day to have a profession that excites me and fills me with passion.

It's funny how a vacation can change your life. In 2001, a good friend talked me into joining him in Brazil. Yes, the land of endless gemstones - sparkling quartz, multi-color tourmaline, sea blue aquamarine, deep purple amethyst, golden citrine and so many more. The natural beauty was just one factor. After working in the apparel and sporting goods industries for over 25 years, the planned obsolescence, ever-changing fashion tastes and overly competitive nature of business had really started to get to me. Gemstones offered an opportunity in an entirely different direction.

Now after almost 10 years in the gemstone business, I only have one regret: Not starting sooner!

To say that I love working out of my house and studio overlooking the East River in Colorado, would be a major understatement! While I do enjoy traveling to a number of gem shows throughout the Four Corners region, there's nothing like being in a familiar positive, environment.
