Announcement   Dave the Bear would like to begin by thanking FifiStitch (http://www.etsy.com/shop/FifiStitch) for making him - Nice one Fifi...

British Things is the home of the Made in Britain and Handmade in Britain range of products, based on the design that was runner up in the Made in Britain logo design contest in 2011, but considered by many to be the superior design. The only difference in the design is that we have changed the silhouette of the St Edward's crown that was not allowed to be used commercially, to our own crown based on the familiar silhouette of the "Tudor" crown as used on the KEEP CALM posters, but modernised and simplified to make better stamps and seals.

All of the products offered here in the Made in Britain range are available in the UK only for purchase by UK Makers, Designers and Artists to enhance their products and to give those products an easy to recognise symbol of their country of origin and their status as a British made product.

Other items to be listed here will include alternative logos for vintage and modern items, fonts, graphics and more representing Britain and British design.

Welcome to British Things. Everything you see here is aimed directly at UK sellers offering UK products. If you are unsure whether what you make or sell is sufficiently British in origin to be classed as Made in Britain, please contact me first. We are not affiliated with any professional organisation, Govt department, or other body and we do not demand subscriptions, or other payments other than to purchase the goods on offer. £1 from every MiB sale goes directly to the designer from who we license the MiB logo. We are here to support and encourage British makers and designers.
