**MESSAGE ME FOR PAYMENT PLAN INFORMATION**

I am a full-time artist specializing in high-quality artwork delivered to you at affordable prices. The work and quality of a professional artist cannot be matched. The cost may be a bit more than other Etsy sellers, but the craftsmanship and durability will be unparalleled. Each painting is created with the best paints and plasters, created on wooden frames that my husband and I hand build. Each is sturdy 1.75" thick board that you don't have to worry about warping or cracking. Wood is far superior to canvas and can be cut in any size to fit your needs.

I also do custom paintings, so if you like a design but need a different color or size, just contact me and maybe I can make it for you!! I love doing custom projects! :)

About

An Accidental Artist

Becoming a self-employed artist was probably a bigger surprise to me than it was to my family and friends. I ended up in this profession rather accidentally. Growing up, I always loved drawing. It started with coloring books of course and grew into realistic portraits of animals an humans. And while I loved drawing, it also was stressful since there was an obvious right and wrong when drawing from a real life subject (if it looked like them, it was right. If it wasnt perfect, it was wrong).

In 2009, my husband bought me some paintbrushes, paints, and canvas for Christmas. That was the start of an adventure I could not have imagined! I started out just making paintings for fun or for family, and eventually my sister recommended posting paintings on Etsy. Never one to be sure of myself, I reluctantly did in May 2010, and I certainly am glad I did!!!

Since then I have sold hundreds of paintings both in the US and Internationally, been published by Penny Lane Publishing, traveled around the United States to art festivals, and was able to quit my day job and fulfill my dream of being a professionally self employed artist!

I paint mainly figurative or abstract work since there is not a right or wrong. I can just paint what I feel or how I see something. I love organic paintings that involve trees or animals. They have a warm and calming effect on me and I hope to give that to others as well. If you don't see the perfect painting for you, send me a convo! I love to make custom paintings as well!!!

PS - If you'd like to see my paintings in person, check out my Schedule of Events page to see if I will be at a festival near you (http://www.brittsfineart.com/events-and-featured-work/).

Rarely using brushes, I tend to use anything and everything that I think might make unique artwork including silverware, glassware, or even car washing tools. Nothing is safe from me! Most importantly, I believe art should be interactive and fun!

I couldn't do my job without my wonderful hubby! He makes all my new wooden frames for me, handles the power tools, and makes the boxes that get your paintings safely to you.
