What makes us special?
Made from only the most brilliant findings, I love making unique hair accessories for the discerning diva. I started Brooklyn Ella Couture to share my love of all things beautiful, fabulous and stylish. I obsess over vintage jewels and millinery and look forward to shopping for old treasures at estate sales and flea markets.
After the birth of our first daughter, Brooklyn Ella, I transferred my obsession into creating unique hair accessories for her. Three fabulous hair accessory lines later, I've grown my business to share my passion for quality hair adornments for adults and brides!
Samantha (Owner/Designer):
I am an artist, teacher, homemaker, wife and (best of all) mommy. As a stay at home mom, I enjoy spending those "naptime" moments twirling and tying ribbons, adorning sequins, sewing feathers and vintage materials onto these unique mini works of art.

In 2005 I graduated with a B.A in Studio Art from Rollins College and went on to earn my professional certificate to teach K-12 Art. In May of 2011, I received my M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning with a focus on Arts Integration.
Shop policies
All my items are handmade and many are one of a kind!
These designs are all created while my girls sleep. Because naptimes are fickle, each order is handmade in the order in which it was received - current production time is 3 business days for most items once payment has been processed. If you'd like a custom design for a photo shoot, birthday party, wedding, baptism or a plain 'ol divalicious day, simply convo me and I'll create a unique design and listing just for you!
I guarantee that all items in my shop are as advertised. This means if the description of your accessory says it is made with "vintage" or "antique" findings - it is! I love taking the treasures I find at estate sales, antique stores, flea markets and thrift shops and transforming them into exquisite accessories. I will never falsify a listing to gain sales - my integrity is your assurance of acquiring exactly what is represented.
*Please keep in mind, my items contain small pieces, and while they are fastened securely, small pieces may pose a choking hazard. Never leave child unattended while wearing any of my hair accessories.
*Want to trade? Convo me and we can discuss! I would love to hear from you with any magazine or blog requests. My one rule for bloggers giving away one of my items is that I only ship the item directly to the winner.

Shipping
If paying by PayPal, I will ship to the address listed there unless told otherwise.
Most items are shipped in upcycled packaging to save on shipping costs. If you would like new boxing, please make sure specify that in checkout.
Most items are shipped within 3-5 business days (U.S Holidays closed) from last receipt of etsy conversation (i.e. - waiting to hear back on color, style or size) with many having same day shipping (as long as you order before the P.O collects!)
Brooklyn Ella Couture cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged by the postal service.
