Brother Jack Woodworking began when I couldn't afford to buy my family Christmas gifts around the holidays. Growing up I had a true craftsman as a father, A jack of all trades if you will. He is a very skillful man who passed his work ethic and drive right to me. I was a general contractor/handyman for years and really wasn't being fulfilled. In the general contracting world, when it gets cold during the winter months business slows down (at least for me it did). My wife and I struggled to make ends meet and knew we had to do something to put food on the table for our kids. The name Brother Jack was created when we found out that my son, Everest Jack, was becoming a brother.  Meanwhile, with another child on the way we had to figure out how to become more financially stable. Brother Jack Woodworking is still in the beginning stages and has a lot of learning and growing to do to reach its full potential. We are doing everything we can to push the company and products as far as it can go. As a woodworker I really enjoy creating and working with wood. Each time I open my shop doors in the morning it feels like a new canvas, and a fresh start for creating.  Everything that comes out of my shop is one of a kind, completely unique, and 100% handmade. I have never made the same thing more than once. The one thing that I really believe sets our work apart from others is the attention to detail we put into each piece. The amount of different woods, patterns, and inlays we use in the creating process of our work is one of a kind. Our creating process is very in depth and has many steps, from getting the wood, which is all natural, to making precise cuts, to putting things together and really seeing the beauty of the product, and finally putting the natural oils back into the wood to make it truly beautiful. The way the wood grain pops out of the Wormy Maple or the sheen on a brightly colored piece of Purple Heart wood is a beautiful thing to me. As the saw dust drifts into the air, and putting my all into my products, that is a job well done. Woodworking is something I am truly passionate about, and aspire to share my gift with you.
